moshenko
Thanks for the plug, Maxkid (it's good to know that we have "neat" work ). The industry in Toronto is booming just as it is everywhere else. And, as with other places, what you charge depends on what you do. I think the bigger question should be "How am I going to get jobs?" and that's where things probably get tricky. Word of mouth is the key to getting good projects and it is very difficult to just call up a company and expect to speak with the person that will give you a project to work on. Considering most visualization companies in Toronto are as desperate for qualified employees as the rest of the world, you might consider contacting them and asking about opportunities rather than moving here with the plan to be a freelancer. Beside the ones already listed below (including mine!) are a few more companies worth looking in to: www.cicadadesign.ca www.imagenius.com www.dayluxe.com Also, you can check out the Ontario Association of Architects' website for job postings: www.oaa.on.ca Opportunities for in-house visualizers are plenty so that may be a good route to explore. Good luck -
