We had most of that technology at the Media Lab maybe 8 years ago, only it required SGIs to run on.

yes, i also had an octane sometimes ago, but things changes :-)

now i have 5 macpros xeon quad core 3.0 GHz running together

and they can do things that the sgi octane took 4 time longer to do for a 1/3 of the octane's price
