What are your material settings for that? Ok. I see where you've given your overall material type. Try using a Standard material with Blinn shader, color black, opacity 0 to 5, specular 100, glossiness 75, and a raytrace material in the Reflectance slot (value at 10 or 20). Test render with Reflectance enabled then disabled and see if that makes a difference.
