maurocan Posted April 20, 2007 Share Posted April 20, 2007 Hi guys, it´s been so long ! but here we are again, this is my problem: I need to make RPC people transparent for an animation, any ideas ? i´m trying to use matte/shadow materials but i cant make it work... see attached, the problem i have is that the matte materials are casting shadows to themselves... as allways thanks for your help !!! 3D_IC Posted April 23, 2007 Share Posted April 23, 2007 Maurocan this is easy to do. I got the tutorial from the Archvision website. All you have to do is pipet the material from the RPC people into the material editor. Now in the first material copy the map into the opacity slot. Go into the opacity map output and knock it down to 0.5 or what ever opacity you require. I can create some screen grabs if you get stuck. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
