millhouse
I am having two problems when rendering in V-Ray, I'm not sure if they are related. First I am getting noise/artifacts in a V-Ray material Glass, I have attached the image below. I am also getting warnings of overbirght or invalid colors, my lighting on the interior is not overblown but I am getting these errors on every peice of geometry in the scene. This is also the first time I am use V-Ray proxies (thanks to EverMotion's tutorials) I am on deadline so I am very desperate here. Thanks
Ricardo Eloy
In order: 1- check you refraction subdivisions and refraction glossiness. They seem low. 2- check your white materials. They should not be 255,255,255. Try something like a very light gray, instead.
millhouse
Rick, Thanks for the feedback. As it turns out the problem is with the V-Ray proxies, for some reason when I save and close and then re-open the V-Ray proxies stop loading. I have to then Merge all of the geometry and lights into a new max file, which seamed to fix the problem. Has anyone else had this problem?
