BoomRat
Hey all, I'm not an architect or anything, just a 3d Modeler working on a demo reel. Like the site and love architecture. This is an extremely ficticious building from a Disney cartoon that I modeled for the biweekly challenge at CGChat. Like the forum says...work in progress. Jeff Mottle
hey BoomRat, Very nice! Can't wait to see the finished product. Was it all modeled with SubD's? The brick texture looks like it's tiling a bit too much on the tallest tower, think it's the dirt patches. Just my 2 cents. Be sure to post again when you get more done. BoomRat
Hey Jeff, Yeah, the texture you see is all tiled, one texture(at the moment). I plan on breaking up the surface with some windows, arrow slits, and some other knick-knacks and nurnies. As for the surfaces, they are poly and NURBs, no sub-ds. Thanks for the feedback. Ricardo Eloy
Well, I'd say it's a pretty good job you got in there! Besides the tiling Jeff mentioned, I'd risk saying that you could increase the bump of the bricks. I mean, they really look a little flat. Or maybe not, just an impression. Any way, keep up the good work!
