Animation test no. 2

Hi Strat,

I like this one much better with the camera movement.

A couple of things to crit:

1. right after the camera moves across the street walk, there are two grey clothed women in the camera view at the same time walking towards the camera. You may want to switch one woman for another or remove her altogether.

2. while moving the camera across the street walk the camera moves directly centered over the constipated walking guy. He becomes the center of attention for a few seconds, maybe move him or the camera to the side so this doesn’t happen?

3. I imagine that you are focusing on the entryway for the customer?, because my eye felt like it was being forced to view that and wasn’t allowed to look at the rest of the hotel.

Best,

paul

This same guy goes flat as you travel over him. A side effect of Marlin people. It is best to clear a path in front of your camera and keep the people off to the sides.

As you cross the street, a woman on the right needs to be slowed down. She skates.

well guys, these are valuable comments.

these 2 animations are the first time i've utilised marlin's ppl. as i say, WIP.

after these 2 tests i can see exactly where to perfect them.

i now know the exact running speed of them to enable me to fit them into any animation quite naturally. (no skating/sliding)

also, after putting 20-30 of these in ur scene AND animating a camera amongst them it takes ages to sort out whats going on where. more care will be taken.

watch out for the next animations, they'll be much more refined i assure you :)

Getting very curious on the modifications ;)

--> why don't you reverse the camera movement, starting with the detail and heading for the overview. This way you keep adding new information to the animation, instead of reducing everything to some people and a green/glass void. It will keep the attention of the viewers much better ;)
