steven martin
The problem with this project is the scale of it. It comprises of 6 large buildings, ranging between 12 and 19 floors high covering quite a large site area. I do not want to increase the level of detail, but would appreciate input to help me take the finished image to the next stage. Rendered using autodesk viz and rd5000 Standard material and 2 lights Render time approx 2hrs http://www.cgarchitect.com/forum/filepush.asp?file=Sheet02.jpg
Alex Ryan Rubio
Great image there.. my only complaint would be with regards to the image size (layout) it is too square which takes out a lot of the linearity of the development. it would be nice to see a 1000x600 image or a variation of it. (2000x1200? 3000x1800)

mbr
Yeah, great image, those sail boats look really nice. I'd agree about the cropping. I know the water looks really nice , but it would probably focus on the building better with less of it.
3d-doctor
next level entourage and lots of it i did an image like this in early 2000 on a rd2k 36 hours rendering with a 72 light sydome for a a3 image............... ahh those were the days anyway it's in the detail birds, people, cafe life plants on balcony open some doors windows get some life/furniture on the balconies for my money i'd pull the shot in a little if you are using the skyshader try going for a smaller diffuse angle (sub30 deg) i have found that some of my work in the past looks a little "model like" on projects of this size to get control of the glass you may wish to consider the use of reflective cards with the hidden from camera switch or render in scanline to get a refelction pass to enable comping a second blue sky
