3dSol
Hello i have been requested to make a price estimate for a typical rendering created from CAD plans which i have done But aside from that they have requested that i make a price estimate for the same image rendered for a 4'x4' billboard, now since this is going to be basically the same image just rendered larger, i wanted to ask for suggestions on how to make that price estimate considering its mostly machine time thanks 3dS
chiquito
what I have done a couple of times was to quote the rendering time, lets say the usage of the machines. i have a price relation in argentine pesos, but in dollars, you could check up the pricing lets say on a render farm, or something similar. Keylitho
Well I worked in the printing industry for a couple years and if they are going to put that sign/billboard on the side of the road where only cars are going to see that it really doesn't need to be that high of DPI but if its for like a poster at a show or something then very high res.. Mabey that helps:D
Frosty
I doubt you'll have to go past 4k pixels no matter what size they print it.
