i like music videos a lot, but only the intelligent and visually appaling ones. examples:

-pure morning by placebo

-hardest button to button, seven nation army, i fell in love with a girl by the white stripes

-around the world by daft punk

-praise you, weapon of choice by fatboy slim

-what it feels like for a girl, nothing really matters by madonna

-coffee and tv by blur

-all is full of love, army of me by bjork

-teardrop by massive attack

-hey boy hey girl by chemical brothers

but as you have noticed, all these videos are a bit old. that's because now, every time i tune mtv, i only see stupid reality shows of rich and stupid kids.

i want to see music!!!! what's been going on all these years???

can you recommend me some recent groundbreaking, state of the art music videos? i would like to be up to date.

thanks!!!

jophus: i've already seen that video , but you made me recall it. now i'm downloading radiohead videos like crazy ( karma police, no surprises, street spirit, and many more) that are definitely on my list

it would be really sweet if you can port all those videos. thanks!!!

I'm not too sure about some of his music but Aphex Twin always makes weird and wonderful videos. Most modern videos are a bit naff I remember ages ago seeing an old Frank Zappa video which was just plasticine images morphing into other images, considering how old the video was it was groundbreaking at the time but god knows what was going on in his head when he came up with the ideas! Just remebered one of the best videos i've seen recently was "Where's your head at?" by Basement Jaxx, also check out Ok Go - here It Goes Again not flashy or gimmicky just very clever.
