Justin Hunt
It would be great if CG Architect could host an online portfolio, similar to that on CGTalk. This is my digital painting portfolio there http://hoppergrass.cgsociety.org/gallery/ Often I would like to see some work done by the members here, so I have to do a past post search and trawl through to find what I am looking for. This would also help in marketing ourselves and applying for jobs on the jobs forum. JHV

CarlAhearne
Sounds like a good plan; there are a lot of members on here, most of whom post some good work that many of us could learn from... An online portfolio on this site would be a good way of showcasing our best stuff, in an easily accessible place...
maryam
I have a portfolio on cgtalk too & it brought tons of opportunities for me. Although i had submitted just a few images in cgarchitect gallery long time ago,i have been contacted with serious clients through it as well.A friend of my childhood currently living in Sweden contacted me through my cgarchitect submitted images!that was really surprising & she wanted to congratulate me to have a high level online international architectural portfolio! But in my opinion cgportfolio look more like a personal portfolio than my submitted images here.thats why i haven't updated my gallery here.also the size of the images is very small although many of artists would like to show many details that they have included in their art pieces. Definitely,I would get more popularity through cgarchitect portfolio especially in architectural visualization, but i really think we need some thing like an online portfolio through here. even i would pay for a yearly membership fee, like i did in cgtalk. After cgportfolio's paid features like submitted images more than five or uploading the animations or blog, number of paid cgmembers increased very much.although many of them already have an online portfolio. This is a very cool idea.

This is a very cool idea. It's in the works and I've been doing the wireframe design on the interface in my head for the past few weeks. The ideas I have will be off the chart compared to other online portfolios in the industry, so stay tuned. Might take a while yet as I need to do more designing and then get the coding done. andreg
Due to the popularity of this site I can't wait to have some exposure on CGA! I'm planning to leave the full time 3D job to start my own business and this is great news for marketing my portfolio, which I never found the time to start assembling yet. Thanks Jeff
