Wilson Iwazawa
Great !! The bedroom still looks a little CGish The bathroom is very good, but i think the towel is too hard, like a plate... Victor Erthal
Hey miguelito, Are you a cousin of Speedy Gonzales? Youre building so fast!! Well, i agree with uirsu, about the hard towel, the geometry seems to be distorting a little mainly on the left side of the image, meybe you could compensate on the geometry. Tha image needs a little more of contrast, but already looks good. []
nisus
The tv looks unreal... Love the foggy atmosphere in the bathroom... looks like someone took a hot shower... nisus

miguelafi
thanks all for the replies, as for the tv im starting to work on that, and to the towels i generally will do those meshes with simcloth, but lately im having problems to setup that one right, anyone has a suggestion on how to simulate cloth, and about the bright on them i correct the material so i hope in the next update it will come out. and tonihno im sorry but... orangeno there will be no kitchen, but in exchange i will give you a tv room, in starting to work on that today, after a hard party weekend, lets see what we can do... gracias
nisus
Hi miquelfi, I'll try to give more details on the tv. - the displayed image is to hard. it doesn't look like a projection on some kind of glass. Also, with that amount of ambient light, IMHO the tv won't illuminate that much. - somehow I sense there should be a shadow on top of the screen because the projection/screen is often a bit offset to the front of the tv. (Basicly there is some kind of frame that adds a shadow to the displayed image) - the screen should give some glow to the surrounding furniture - the tv is not reflected in the window - Way back when I watched television, the borders of the screen where a bit less illuminated than the center but since I've only watched tv sporadically in the last 12 years this could be off topic... I hope this helps you out a bit rgds nisus
miguelafi
thanks a lot nisus, its incredible that u are capable of see all those details, in such a little thing as a tv, but i believe those details are the ones that counts, ill work those and post soon, thanks a lot this is for me an example of the grade of detail that we should be capable of... thanks, nisus
miguelafi
hi again, ill work on all suggestion for the final stage of these images, but first i have to finish the preview for the client, so heres the tv room, this image is proving to be the most difficult by the size of the room and the layout of the furniture, in a little trouble with this image composition, so if anyone can help me fix this one ill really appreciate it. thanks a lot. ps. theres still a lot of work to o on the lower right corner, but ill wait to see opinions to get on that... nisus
Hi miguelfi, Here is a small tip to get wa better composition. Render the image at 640x640 (instead of 640x480) and crop the upper part to the same resolution. This way, you'll have more detail in the foreground, leaving the (rather boring) ceiling out. Ow, and vertical lines will stay vertical... a much better way than to lower the target height! rgds nisus
miguelafi
HI, IM POSTING AND UPDATE OF THE TV ROOM, ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME... THANKS A LOT
JHalton
Great Works, well done. Just wondering, would the reflection on the floor contain a daylight effect? It looks like its daytime in the reflection. How are you rendering this, thought of using Global Illumaination? miguelafi
thanks a lot for your cooperation... nisus, thanks for the advice on the image composition and the tv matter, how u see the new tv set i got? cullen, i believe what u see in the bottom left is the lamp screen witch is a little overexposed and seems to be cutting the shadows, but it is suppose to be that way, maybe making the screen a little transparent would help, what do u think? jhalton, this are my first renderings using vray, i use to work with radiosity and have results similar to this but vray i way faster... well, thanks a lot to all for your opinions, i will go on now to the final stage of rendering and photoshop, may post this ones on the final work forum... rgds
cullen
miguelfi, That looks awesome!!! One thing I'm noticing is on the left just below the bottom picture, it seems that there is something cutting the shadow line. I don't know if that is supposed to be there or not but the room looks great. I also like the tv with the screen as it is now. great work!!!
