mzex
what should I do for my glass to let light through? I set my glass to be transparent and the light is target direct with vray shadows enabled, but my glass panel cast shadow as it is some nontransparent box. Here's the max file. Have you told the light source to exclude the glass? Not sure if that will do it or not
mzex
if I do that then there is no shadow at all, but glass should cast some shadow.
cdgsean
In the refraction settings for the glass material, check the affect shadows box. This will allow light to pass through the glass.
