Ernest Burden III
A couple? Nice collection. I like them all, except fro the two interiors with the Corbu chairs blocking the foreground, and only because you have chairs blocking the foreground. The trees are great, though getting some transparency (using the MWR SSS perhaps) in the leaves might make them even better. But the best, by far, is the last one. That's a really hard scene to resolve and you have done a fine job of presenting the inside, outside and transitions.
BrianKitts
your exteriors are extremly well done.... although you might want to work a little on the grass.... it's the only thing that's isn't up to par with the rest of the quality level. quite a nice collection
1eo
thanks guys... As soon as maxwell incorporates displacement we will see some better grass I started using clipmaps now (first image posted) The trees are great, though getting some transparency (using the MWR SSS perhaps) hehe, I know... I haven't had time to mess with SSS yet thanks for the coments leo
trino
the floor in the last image si absolutly amazing, i really love it, maybe the bump is too much in the walls but it looks great after all.
P.R.S. Sivakumar .
Great !! The renderings are quite great. Do the Maxwell renderings take much time? PRSS
1eo
Great !! The renderings are quite great. Do the Maxwell renderings take much time? PRSS The exterior shots take like 3-5 hours on my old pc, maybe even less. I leave them overnight most of the time. I would say at around 90 minutes its presentable although a little grainy Setup takes 5 minutes at most... as I'm not a perfectionist when it come sto renderings. Onzki
Hi Leo--these are great! i'm amazed to know you can produce such output with sketchup and maxwell... i'm familiar with sketchup.. but not on maxwell--can you give me insights on how you do it? program versions.. your workflow..etc. thanks! alexg
Very realistic render Leo What trees do you use? Onyx?
1eo
Some of the trees are Xfrog and some others are imported from Vue5... I do not import the trees to sketchup as it would kill sketchup(too many poligons). What i do, is composite the final model in Maxwell studio. I have been debating some time to use Maxwell or not. And from eye.. the landscape/entourage is great. Any resources on how you utilize maxwell would be great. ~ Derek

M V
Very nice. Maxwell is amazing, but I hear it's kind of a dog with rendering time. Have they improved upon that?
