Well, i suppose that Revit has been tailored to handle many scopes of design projects. I think it'll be a challenge (but not impossible) in that you'll need to have a firm grasp on how to make and edit families and components. It'll be interesting to see your work as you progress, keep us posted!

i wouldn't recommend Revit for RV interiors. while Revit is a 3d application, it is just as much about documentation, schedules, and coordination. basically, Revit is designed to store a lot of information about the building, and its primary focus is not 3d. it tends to store 3d information in a fairly basic form, without a lot of detail. based on this i would recommend sticking with an app whose primary focus is 3d.

...however, i do not know what your goal is with RV. ...are you doing renderings? a design for mass production? ...including schedules for materials?

Do you need to be able to do the technical aspects? Structural, and what hooks up where, etc.? The fundamental and technical problems of RV design would be somewhat similar to interior architecture, but different enough that you'd need to specialize things somewhat...
