Pauleeeeee Posted May 13, 2007 Share Posted May 13, 2007 Just wondering if anyone has any idea how to go about getting worn looking parking lines/road lines like this one in this picture http://www.3dar.com/portfolio/highres/exteriores/drift_01.jpg My way would be to go and hand paint the textures and do a uvw map but there must be a faster and more efficient way? TheAllusionisst Posted May 14, 2007 Share Posted May 14, 2007 Actual geometry (thin strips) with a rough alpha channel to make it transparent in spots to look warn through, or if it is thin enough, bump or displacement mapping on the asphalt would protrude in places?
