visualmusic.4
OK - I am doing a basic exterior flythrough animation. I am using a target camera and setting key frames for both the camera and the target. Easy. The problem is that when I save the file and then re-open it, the camera is in a totally different location from what I had set through my key frames. (I am using auto-key mode.) I'm sure this is a pretty easy fix, but I just can't figure it out. Does anybody know what I am doing wrong here? Thank you!
Tommy L
When you save and close then open, the slider will reset to be on zero frames. Thats the only thing i can think of. Have a look in the graph editor curve. Are there any spikes in the xyz curves?
visualmusic.4
I assumed that after you turn on auto key, move the time slider, and make any changes that this generates 2 keyframes which are automatically locked in. Unfortunately after closing the file and reopening, the camera was moved to a different location at the beginning of the timeline and screwed up all of my camera paths at each keyframe. There were no spikes in the curve editor... However, now I've gone and made sure that I've added keyframes for both the camera and target at the very beginning of the timeline. This seems to have fixed the problem so far...
