Fernando Lino
Hi. it looks very depressing....the ceiling and the lightning fixtures don't fit with these rooms(bedrooms).
Ken Walton
Your lighting is great, but I agree with the last post. It looks like a place where the occupants aren't allowed to have any loose clothing or sharp objects. Is there a "padded" room you haven't shown us? Just teasing, you know - other than the atmosphere/decor the scene looks good and very accurate. Ken Walton
Joel_FVD
Great start. I think the ceilings might be a little bright. There is a base molding missing in the living room. I like the modeling of your furniture, especially the couches, they look really velvety.
Brian Cassil
Technically it looks very good. But I agree with some of the other comments related to the sterile look of everything. It all depends on the story your trying to tell with this. Sterile may be exactly what the client or whoever wants! If not though, I would definetly add something to liven things up and although I'm usually against putting people in interior photorealistic renderings (photographers don't do it, so why should we?) I think this my warrant some just to add some humanity to the spaces. Plants might help too. I just took another look and I think some darker shadows would liven things up a great deal. Especially under the furniture. I can't determine any shadows under the classroom chairs at all. Just my 2 cents. Once again technically it looks quite nice. edit: I see the shadows under the classroom chairs now. I thought it was a floor pattern at first. They are a bit too sharp and like I said before maybe not dark enough or enough contrast in them.
taufux
first of all thank guy to give comments. Originally posted by Fernando Lino: Hi. it looks very depressing....the ceiling and the lightning fixtures don't fit with these rooms(bedrooms). actully i composite the lighting fixture in the photoshop cos i using the light tracer and direct light (for sunlight effect) for the scene, if i close the top with the ceiling it'll be too dark for the scene. ya i having 1 problem here. does anyone know how to get sky light(for light tracer) go trough the gls? i can't get it right cos what i get is the gls will act like a wall, the sky light wont go trough it. Fernando Lino
My opinion is more a design issue than the quality of the rendering....about the rendering I agree with the rest of the people. I'm an architect...I understand that the CG Artists sometimes have to do miracles....creating a good rendering with bad designs and mediocre architects or designers. It’s a hard work!!!....This one could be an interesting topic "Awful designs with good renderings!!!!!
Brian Cassil
That would be a really great topic actually! Post the worst designs that we've had to work on. I know I've got a few.
Jason Matthews
The second image same comment. The ceiling looks like it is floating. Thats OK, but maybe you should be more bold about it, unless of course this is not your design. The third image is a tad too bright. Are you using radiosity? The fourth imag, same comment. Bishop
The problem is this. The client just wanted to see the furniture in the space, they didn't want us to use any clutter/filler stuff. That is why there are nothing in the rooms except of the furnitures. Selling my soul but....
