The anti-aliasing screws everything up. Also, GLASS is transparent in the id!?!? Geniuses. I just spent 2 hours trying to get all the details on layers because it was impossible to select it in photoshop the way they do it. hmmm - ID material and mesh maps are supposed to be rendered out in colour. what version on what platform did you use? what sampling level (SL) did you reach? anyway, i cannot confirm, i get ID material maps and ID mesh maps all in colours here on macs. antialiasing is now (version 1.5) depending on SL, because for reaching a better overall quality, those extra channels are written out at each SL update. this cleans up transparent parts better. tip: you can render those extra channels as a single render job (uncheck 'render' in render options). you will get a much faster output. hope this helps. markus Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
