Crazy Homeless Guy
I have never tried it like that, but I have rendered a handful of irradiance maps, then used the irradiance map viewer to combine them into one file. ....however, when I do this, the file sometimes grows large in size. Geoffc
Well, you just saved me with your observation! I added all the cameras to the IR map, and uploaded to respower. I followed their instructions to the letter, yet the first four attempts, all my test frames crashed their servers. Then I realized that my combined IR map was 100 megs, and each of their servers was trying to load this. So I went back to the original IR map of the first camera, 35 megs, swapped it on their server, and presto, it worked!! So I guess I'll have to keep swapping out the IR map for each camera, or just trust that the first one proabably sampled 'enough'.
Tommy L
The irr map is view dependent, so your first cameras irr map cannot be used with other cameras.
