sdds
just a quick one chaps, working on some architectural drawings tomorrow and am wondering if its quicker for the elevations to build a model in sketchup then export each side, or.. draw each elevation in 2d with autocad? I would think modeling would be faster but might be to much mucking about. Would love to know what you experienced guys think.... don't I come up with some questions lol:D
kippu
if you have the correct dimensions then you can start off modelling if you are confident enough ... but its nicer and faster to get a rough outline in autocad to start off the model itself for me atleast
sdds
so what your saying is its faster to work up a 2d elevation then model later. I am doing 2d plans at the mo so a 3d model is not needed.
