Hi Guys,

I know I posted about this last year, but every few months it is the same bombs and explosions, I've really had enough now and need to leave this country for ever. Can anyone guide me to a real Canadian job search website, other than Hotjobs or Monster? where I can find 3d architectural permanent employment listings?

Also if anyone knows of any Architectural firm, or rendering studio who needs to hire someone could you let me know please? I have 5 years of US work experience and I can e-mail some samples of my work. I only need a work visa, no relocation package, and average salary. e-mail is ihabkal@yahoo.com

thanks a lot for any help.

There is a good site as an employer I use all the time. It's a national site but its broken down by region. For instance:

Calgaryjobshop.ca for calgary

Edmontonjobshop.ca for Edmonton

torontojobshop.ca for Toronto.....you get the idea.

here is a link to get you started. Like I said I've used this site in the past and it has wrked well for an employers stand point.

I was wondering how you were doing.

Must it be Canada? If I heard about anything from anywhere else, like the UAE for example, would you be open to it?

THanks Ernest and everyone for the links, about the UAE, I worked in the US for 5 years and I loved it, working in North America you get treated very well, I wasn't happy working in the Middle East, I am from the Middle East but the way my brain works and the way I feel is definitly North American... I have a couple of offers from the US but the H1B cap has been reached 2 months ago and it will take 18 months before the 2008 H1B visas are approved. And I always was in love with Canada since I was a little child.

Each province has its own Architecture Association with its own website. Check those as they have job postings and firm listings. Also check RAIC website and the schools of architecture (there are only 10).

The hot spots right now for work in Canada are Vancouver and Calgary. The most expensive places to live are Vancouver and Toronto. The highest rated places to live in Canada are Vancouver, Toronto and Ottawa - from a recent study.

I know nothing about a forgien national getting work permits for Canada, sorry.
