archkre
How do I get rid of blueish tint in withe walls from HDRI used in environment slot of Vray? HDRI intensity is OK for glass but wrong for white walls!
Tommy L
You could render in passes for greater control in post. However, I would recommend in this case that you just use the HDR as a reflection map and just tint the renders' secondary light in the environment colour slot. Then the blue will be subtle and you can tint your sun a little yellow and have control over how crisp the direct shadows are. For such a blue sky, It seems confusing as to where the sun is coming from. Do you have a direct light source, or just HDRI?

archkre
I used the HDR as a reflection map in override /environmet/reflex. varying from 0.5 to 4.0 intensity, but I couldn't notice any positive change in results except looonger times. Used maxcamera and direct light w/vray shadows.
Tommy L
I meant you should take the HDR out of the GI. JUST use it as a reflection map. Tint the environment a little blue. Use a direct light for sun.
