How To Make a Hull with Line Spline

 

Hi...

 

Thought I'd give it a go and turn into a Video Tutorial something that I just read about over on www.3dkingdom.com (specifically, http://www.3dkingdom.org/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=77)

 

There was some confusion during the steps as presented, so I thought I'd make a video tutorial.

 

I don't use splines a whole lot, so I'm forcing myself to do tutorials involving them.

 

This is a tutorial on making a ocean going vessel's hull, but I'm sure could be easily used for starships, etc.

 

It's a Beginner's Tutorial.

 

While this example shows a ship's hull, the techniques shown could easily be used for furniture, fixtures, etc.

There's no sound and was made with Camtasia - so go get the codec if you don't already have it.

 

If this is imappropriate or off-topic, please let me know and I won't post any more. I just see people asking where they can get existing models, and with a bit of practice they can make their own.
