bakertony
I have a scene which consist of lots of buildings from sketchup that were imported as dwg's. the scene is now heavy with thousands of hidden blocks:groups. when i try to delete them or even group them my geometry explodes and moves all over the place. is there a way of removing these without affecting the geometry of the buildings. STRAT
i usually explode all first before importing into my scene. try re-importing into SU or CAD, clean them up in there, then re-import back into your scene.
bakertony
thanks strat, thats what i do now with my models from sketchup. however this is a scene i worked on a few months back and ive done too much work on the model in max to revert back. i was hoping there was a way to remove this stuff in max.
