AFK_Matrix
Hi, I'm going to be going to the Vismasters DMVC Conference in San Diego this August and I've never been to San Diego. Only place I have been in the US is Houston Texas. So what should I be seeing in San Diego? What are some good (but not too expensive lol) resturants etc? Hope I bump into a few of the people from this forum to, will be good to put faces to names. Thanks.

brianzajac
In Balboa park (thanks for the mention CHE), I hear the San Diego Zoo is fantastic: http://www.sandiegozoo.org/
CHE
Yeah, the zoo is very nice. I think that it is the best one I have seen so far. However, it is very expensive and you have to be prepared to either walk a lot or to wait in long lines for the zoo bus. I still think that it is worth all the trouble. If you want to taste great regional food go to Old Town.
