warprat
So how do I use it? does it work with fprime?
Limbus
So how do I use it? does it work with fprime? You parent a small sphere to a pointlight and set it to "unseen by camera". Then you map the IES file onto the sphere. So it kinda works like a gobo. It should work with fprime. Florian
warprat
and I map The IES map through the node editor right?
IC
Yes you add the IES map node, pick an IES file of your choice (some are included with the plug in) and plug that in to the transparency, and optionally the luminosity, channels for the sphere's material. solegna
does this plugin only work with lightwave 9x? is there any way to use IES files with lightwave 8.5?
Limbus
does this plugin only work with lightwave 9x? is there any way to use IES files with lightwave 8.5? This Plugin uses the node texturin system so you need 9.x for it. I dont know of any way to use them in 8.5. Florian
