PAR 64 stage light - model share

Hi,

 

Had to knock up a scene with some stage lighting and just thought I'd share this model of a "can" PAR64 instrument.

 

The render isn't finished yet, but please let me know if you like the model. Treat it as your own but don't sell it please... Or give me some money if you do

when i saw this I just had to create a gel to go with it

 

So i am attaching it to the post, just 'merge' it into the file( it will fit in place), it contains only the gel and a 'fake IES' light (photometric) and the gel material

 

unfortunately you cant realy see it in the render, just turn off the main light.

heh - cheers mate! But you've caused me more trouble now I'm going to have to build the spring clasp at the top (which I accidentally on purpose forgot to model) so that your gel model doesn't fall out.

 

Oh and I found that these lights work very well if you put a spherical vray light in them with a low setting - between 3-10, size 10-20mm and check 'no decay'

 

I got some quite realistic spotlight effects like this.
