Rconce01
this was done pretty quiclky with the mental ray render engine. Basically some materials and i main raytraced light and one under light. Any comments would be appreciated.
nisus
Hi Rafaelo, Did you use the daylight system? Or just a regular spot (two, one under too)? Do you want comments on lighting? or allreound comments? rgds, nisus
Koper
They look good and promising for very good renders. I just think your lighting can be more dramatic such as with the 2nd image rather have the front wall in shadow. you also can lower the sun which will give more shadows adn in turn more dramatic. cool:cool:
Rconce01
Any comments are welcome. the lighting was one main raytraced light...no sun system and another light from below (non shadow casting to illuminate the underside of the slabs. I also used a logarithmic exposure control Hi Rafaelo, Did you use the daylight system? Or just a regular spot (two, one under too)? nisus
Hi, I would definately recommend you to uSe the MR daylight system to have great lighting. For the model: It's hard to get a good feeling of scale when the images are taken from close by the terraces. I would like to see some additional modelling there... (OR if you don't want to model more, do not come that close with your camera) The environment could also be enhanced to add a better atmosphere. This of course is a time-eater, so another option might be to stylize the surroundings. Anyway, to my feeling a closer choice should be made and be more stated in the imgae. At this time the image feels a bit on both edges, merely by accident. I would chose one and make it visually hard. rGds, nisus
