thickly
It seems that the angle snap settings don't take decimal degrees -- I am trying to set an angle for a survey project at 16.5, 106.5, etc... but the snap settings keep rounding it up to 17. I am trying to draw square rooms and that +/- 0.5 is making a huge difference, especially for the larger rooms. is there any way to compensate for this? Thanks in advance for any help
neko
are you sure that your drawing units are not rounded to the nearest degree ? type in 'UN' for units and on the right hand side, make sure you have at least one decimal point for angular measurement
bigroo
Even though the display is showing 17 etc., the angle will still be whatever you enter but prodham is correct in what he says. Look at the decimal point setup you have as a default.
thickly
thanks to you both, I think Prodham nailed it -- I have to check when I get on my home machine but something tells me that will do the trick, I know here on my office machine the angle units were set to whole numbers (zero decimals). thanks
