SandmanNinja
I love books - I have a library in my house - but for computer learning, I find video tutorials to be very good (well, the good ones). I think CG-Academy has an advanced texturing video tutorial, as well as numerous free ones of so-so quality. If you get this book, post a follow-up and let us know what you think. Exellite
errr, its a video m8 your absolutely right tho, the only thing that beats learning from videos is having a tutor in the room with you imo
vkirchner
I have the video, it helped quite a bit with the workflow of texture creation and using multiple images and techniques to generate a finished texture. Books are also a high value to me, I have great difficulty in jumping back and forth from a video to the program in which I am trying to follow along, this is much easier with a book and the actual program. Good luck.
Exellite
aaah, the blessing of a dual monitor setup thanks for the little review too, it's on order now!! Mark

SandmanNinja
I've got dual screens and there is no way I'd ever go back to a single monitor. I use my 2nd (old CRT) for video tutorials, reference images, anything that I want up but not 'in the way'. Didn't realise the item in question was a video.. hehe
