Timbur
Hello everyone! This is a nice exterior project what i'm working with and now i need your opinion. If you have any ideas how to improve this pic feel free to comment and crit. I've used autocad, 3D studio max 8 (scanline) and photoshop. Here is the pic: And here is a link to higher resolution pic: http://www.3dims.net/exterior_1200.jpg Thank you...
AFK_Matrix
Nice model mate. Just a few things I've noticed. 1. I would either put some bushes, a fence or something on the left corner of your building as you can see where the sky hits the grass which looks odd imo. 2. If its supposed to be a hot sunny day then you need to make the overall picture alot brighter. Seems a bit dull at the moment. 3. Either in Max or in Photoshop add some reflections or something to the glass to give it some life. If you are set on using Scanline and don't want to try Mental Ray etc then maybe worth looking at the LightTracer option under Advanced Lighting. It produces some great results, only problem is you have to tweak all your materials otherwise they come out very bright.
3dSol
I think the architecture is really well done some comments on the entourage would be: to try to better match contrast/brightness with the people and the plants and the grass The tree in the middle is in an odd location, would be nicer to see the vegetation frame the architecture instead than blocking it too much keep it up! ) 3dS
Timbur
Thanks guys for the feedback! I think I will tweak the materials a bit, and maybe try to render it with MR. If I get some good results I might post them over here
