adri
might as well not exist for the traffic it gets...
Ernest Burden III
It's a Max world. Do you have a question? I use Cinema every day.
adri
well yes it is a max world but c4dcafe seems active enough as does the forum over at cgtalk. I use cinema daily (as a relative newbie) but it's disappointing that apparantly so few users use it for Arch Viz. If they did they'd be here, right? But the user numbers are only a fraction of what Max has in arch-vis. CGtalk and C4Dcafe are general in nature. In fact, I find CGtalk vaguely hostile to arch-vis (opinion!). Look at it this way--C4D has fewer problems, so fewer questions need to be asked.
jrizzo
I think that the best proof there is for the case of arch-viz Cinema users lies in how quickly questions are answered here. That's the thing about CGTalk - lots of posts, but they're mostly questions. How do I do this or that, etc. I think the community here is just different. It doesn't attract a lot of new Cinema users for whatever reason, so they take their questions elsewhere. Posts here get one or two replies, then they're answered, then it takes awhile before another question arises. I suppose I just don't have much to talk about! I'd share work but it's all confidential until our stores go up (I do retail interiors), and by then I've totally forgotten about the work I did for it a few months before. I do love seeing arch-viz work from other Cinema users, but I suspect most are in similar situations to mine.
Frosty
They are here. I'd add to that and say that most of the C4D users on this forum arent really newbies. Also, most people progress very quickly when they start using C4D. Those are two significant reasons for a lack of questions.

Adri not really. i dont use c4dcafe for instance. just because peeps dont use this site doesn't mean archi viz c4d users dont exist. besides, this forums gets a decent amount of traffic compaired to some of the others. do we close the others too? Also, can you fill in your bio details correctly please to aviod account suspension. thank you
