dismember
Hello Folks Just wondering, when I see all the beautiful interior renderings, does everyone build their own 3d furniture inhouse. Or are there any good places to buy high end, designer furniture. I did look at the vismasters website, Intero Visuals 3D collections, but I am looking for some more modern designer high end models. Can you please post with their recommendations for where to buy high detailed interior furniture. Thanks
Chad Warner
First place I would look for modern furniture would be e-interiors.net. It's free and they have a ton of stuff. Other than that, check out evermotion.org. They have the "archinteriors" CD's that have all modern furniture with materials and maps.
innerdream
I wasn't able to find a lot on e-interiors.net am I doing something wrong? I use the search for 3d function and also select the pieces I like and look for 3d models.
Chad Warner
What I do is just choose the main heading (office, lighting, kitchen, etc) and then there are more sub categories, one of which is "CAD Library availibility" and then set that one to 3D. BrianKitts
I start with the manufacturer's website and see if they offer the model themselves. My next stop is normally e-interiors, to see if it's there or something similar that can be modified to suit my needs. And if all that comes up empty then you model it from scratch. Check out the visualization insider week #21 on creating furniture. http://www.cgarchitect.com/news/newsfeed.asp?nid=3712
