classix
Hi, In my office we are using FireGL cards. There is a strange problem with shaded views in Max. Sometimes the whole model changes colour to yellow, blue etc. Not a big problem but nerve-racking when modeling. It seems to be a problem of the FireGL cards or drivers. No problem with Nvidias Quadro. Thanks in advance Marcus --- http://www.einherzfuerpixel.de
lambros
I have had the same problem with a fire GL, it seems that it is a driver related problem. Broke my nerves too... In my new workstation I got a Gforce 8800GTS640MB, cheaper and faster and it makes me happy
Bubbaloo
We use FireGL V3100 with no problems in Max, uh except it's slow...
Vince Paske
FireGL V7300 here - and I have same problems. I've tried using Direct-X, OpenGL and software just to see what happens and they all do it. Latest drivers It's kinda freaky.
Bubbaloo
Now that I think about it, I uninstalled the new driver because it was screwing up Maxwell Render. I am guessing it has to do with the new drivers having to be compatible with Vista?? Anyway, I would revert back to an older version for now.
