Limbus
I treid to Up some images but that fileflow plugin is giving me trouble. The installer wont recongnize my Firefox browser and when I use IE 7 it hangs with the message "Processing your FastStore file upload request". Maybe its because I use a german Windows? Maybe someone has an idea. Cheers, Florian

pradipta
Hi Jeff, I was wondering of there is any chance of extending the deadlines by 1 week or so. I think lot of people will be benifited by this extensions. But, I know this is absurd.

Unfourtunately no, we've had this advertised on the site for about a month now, and we need time to assemble the images, have them judged and contact the finalists before the awards ceremony in August. If people want to submit, they have had a lot of time to submit already. Sorry.
pradipta
Yes, I also thought that this is quite impossible at this stage. Fortunately, I got three images finalized for submission and I will upload them tonite. Thanks Jeff a lot for this oppurtunity.

Jeff Mottle
Jeff how many animations have been posted right now?? (9 hours left)?? With 3 hours left I now have 75 animations and 713 still images. Apparerntly my begging and pleading worked. Last week we had about 5 animations and 50 still images. The count so far is more than both the submissions for 2005 and 2006 combined. Thanks everyone! I'm off to Spain for Mundos Digitales for a week, but will be compiling all of the entries this week. d7man2000
Hi, I started a process of uploading 10 minutes before a deadline, I had a lot of issues with this plugin and firefox browser, I finally got it working with Internet explorer. Now i see that file is being compressed, i don't know if I made file too big because it is taking long time. I see that 3 minutes are left. the file is still being compressed and doesn't want to go through. I sent it 10 minutes before a deadline. Ok, now I see it is transferred. Kris Kopec. Crazy Homeless Guy
i decided to retouch a image, and submit it. it was submitted on time, but i must say, it was a blunder on my part. after i submitted it, i looked at the image in windows picture and fax viewer, and it looked like poop. very disappointing after spending extra time on it. it was a darker image, and it looked fine in photoshop, but the darks had no definition beyond black in the image viewer. maybe my photoshop profile is the problem. anyway, it was my own fault. lesson learned on double checking before hitting send. however, it is good to see that the turn out was decent. BrianKitts
how do you know there are 715 images? because Jeff had previouslyt said there were 713 images so far... and then I added my 2. making 715...... although I'm sure there were many more that slipped in before the buzzer. It will be interesting to hear the final counts.

Ernest Burden III
The count so far is more than both the submissions for 2005 and 2006 combined. Now I'm doubly glad I'm not judging this year. And I get to compete! I submitted with about 20 minutes to spare, so for me, that's an early finish.
Neha
Hi Jeff...I submitted two images. Actually there were a lot more I wanted to submit, but it was a choice between finishing AVC or rendering hi res/ doing touch ups for images for this award. Maybe you can keep the Architectural 3D Awards deadline after the AVC next year...
pixel
Hi, I've submitted 2 images. I was wondering two things : - Do the images have to stay confidential since the publishing of the results ? - When the results will be published ? Thanks
