trino
Hi guys, i need some help, i want to align the selected surface (see image) to conform a 90° angle, i tried the align tool but didn´t work, is there a way to do this ??? i model this from CAD files but i need the rotation to put a modifier (Blend) and with that rotation angle the modifier doesn´t work well. Thanks for any help.
Victor Erthal
you can add an edit poly modifier, select one of the polygon sub-objects on your surface. hit f12 key to bring you transform type in window, and with the rotate tool selected, take note of the x,y,z angles of rotation on you surface. it is important that the coordinates are set to local. Finally, go back to the object level, and rotate it with the oposite value you took note of. hope this works for you.
Tommy L
create a grid that aligns with your intended axis. Activate the grid. You can set the 'local' to be 'grid'.
