claytonjamesblack
First time using Vray. The version is 1.5 and using Max 9. The image has an exterior Vray sun. Can anyone help on getting rid of the over exposed light in the right hand corner of the room. What am I doing wrong?
olli96
what kind of color mapping are you using ?
claytonjamesblack
I didn't touch it - So that setting should be set to Exponential?
olli96
default is linear, try to switch to exponential or reinhard. with reinhard you can interpolate between linear (1) and expontial (0).

JamesTaylor
Something doesn't add up with this... The blown out area suggest that the light source is coming from an external source to the left of thge image yet the direct light hitting the floor comes through the glass door from an external source to the right hand side of the image??? Do you have more than one light in the scene???
claytonjamesblack
No there is only one light in the scene. I made a mistake in the first thread as I said it was a Vray sun - It's a directional light with vray shadows. It's outside looking down thru the windows.
