jphelps
We've been modeling in AutoCAD using ABS walls and mass elements. We're just starting out with V-ray rendering basic white mass models and are noticing alot of blotchiness along edges and where one or more mass intersects. We've also noticed that when we model with AutoCAD 3d solids we don't get any of the blotchiness with the exact same V-ray lighting and set-up. We would prefer to use the ABS walls and mass elements so is there a fix out there for the blotchiness problem?

Tonsgaard
I've Had similar problems with ADT and vray... I think it comes down to multiple faces in the exact same location. when several faces lies on top of each other in the exact same plane vray freaks out. What you need to do is to create a tiny gap between wall elements and so... Stupid, but necessary as far as I know... Might just give all objects a push modifyer with a very small negative value!?!
