Martin Lupton
Hi Can anyone help me, i am using Viz for a daylight analsyis and am trying to make my glazing opal diffuse. Like frosted or sand balsted glass. Has anyone been able to acheive this? All my glass settings seem to give a hard edge to the sunlight. Thanks Martin
@lkion O
Martin what settings have you used? Try making your own material and not copying one from the libraries. Try the bump map by adding some noise. Then chec the parameters and start manipulating them. That should be a good start!
Martin Lupton
Hi I've used a raytrace material with an IOR of 1.74, a specular level of 50 and glossiness 40. I've experimented with 50% translucency, fog density within the glass, and also a very finely textured bump map on the surface. Martin
