HomeBrewTJ
We have been exporting 3d floorplans to .3ds for use in another application. Upon import of the .3ds file, some objects are scaling up to almost 10x that of the house itself. Most of the models that are doing this are purchased models that we use for the interior, and I'm sure that they have been scaled up or down at one point or another. Is there a way to reset all the objects' scaling so that this won't happen? I was under the assumption that once the meshes were collapsed through the 3ds export, that everything would be pretty much taken care of, but I am wrong. Thanks. HomeBrewTJ
We came up with a solution if anyone is interested: First, we selected all of the objects in the scene and in the Utilities Panel, applied the Reset XForm to them. Then collapsing all of the meshes cleared away the previous scaling problems on export.
