Hi,

Just wondered if anyone has a setup for vray that they think is the best way to render interior scenes? Can a render be done quite quickly and be of a good/great quality? or am i wanting too much from this program?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your help.

I usually work with some settings to preview, while i am working and for final render I use diferent settings.

Next settings have work for me: for previews: desactive antialiasing and use low preset in irradiance map (use imap + qmac in GI). if you want change rates -3,-3 in imap, to get just one pre-pass. In system, adjust Render region division to 32.

For final render activate antialiasing (depending on your render you should choose what kind), use light cache, not qmac as secondary GI engine (remember that light cache is going to be precalculeted so be patient) and depending on your render choose Medium or HIGH quality in IMAP settings. dont forget to change de render region division to 64 again. Maybe those are not the perfect settings but is a start. good look;)
