Vray Displacement Question

Hi all-

I've been trying to figure this out for a couple of hours now. I have a shingled roof plane that I am using a vray displacement map on(In the vray materials). I have my materials and maps applied and they look right,

 

When I increase the overall size for use on a different portion of the roof, the displacement amount increases as well. The maps are correctly applied and scaled, it is just that the amount of displacement increases when the size increases. If it were only one panel I would just tweak the displacement amount and be done with it. With 10 different panels, though, I'd like to figure out how to copy one standardized panel and change the dims as necessary.

I normaly use UVW modifier and enter a fixed size in the length, width and height. Map scale should be fixed regardless of what you do to the panels. Hope this helps

Yeah, that is what I thought too.

 

I searched the forum for vrqay displacement (DOH!) and found what I was looking for-One post by Rick Eloy suggested to use the vray displacement modifier which worked fine.
