RichardsBay
Hi, I am learning 3D and want to get into architectural visualization. What plans can I expect to receive from the architect? Any examples?
aaron-cds
You'll want floor plans, elevations and a site plan. Wall sections and details help too because oftentimes, elevations are drawn with less detail.
mbowers
To be clear, you would want to get Electronic files as often as possible. In our day and age, however, handing over your labor and toil design on a disk can be like giving up your first born. If your client is stubborn and only wants to give you hard copies, then you should adjust your fee for the time it'll take for scaling and redrawing. (in my experience it's easier to trace over imported cad plans). Every client is different. Sections are a must. Dont forget the sections. Hope this helps. RichardsBay
Thanks for the advice. Any chance of getting a set of sample plans so that I may practice?
