tayrona
Hi all and thanks in advance!! I would like to know if somebody have a solution to my big answer. When I have to make curved indirect light in vray I use a sequence of little vray lights to get the curve as the example I am attaching (what I do.jpg) Now a client is asking me to fill a very long curved cealing with a lot of indirect light.... and I am afraid to use more than 500 lights to get the result.... (I am attaching my clients requirement - what they ask.jpg) all red lines are the light they want. What can I do???
Mechadus
I would just make a plane, or renderable spline that fits up in your light-well, then apply a VrayLight material to it, and crank the value up till it gives you the result your looking for. Might not be as pretty as actuall Vray lights, but gives a similar effect. Thats how I do most of my fancy interior diffuse lighting. -Nick
guca
Try using vraylight material. either you can use a high multiplier or save out the self illumination channel and do some post with it.
