laumikey
Here is a kitchen model that I converted to vray materials and lighting to test out vray, this is a first render I've done with vray using a single vray sun. Its an improvement of what I've achieved before with just a scanline renderer, though it has taken 12hrs to render at 1600x1200. Any crits and comments welcome,
Exellite
dont worry, the more you learn the quicker those times will get, I was on 7 / 8 hours per image for 1280 x 1024, that was about 4 months ago, Last week I did a 3508 x 2480 in just under 2 hrs. 1 crit on that image is the splotches on the ceiling and cornice, also a change in view and some camera correction will work wonders

laumikey
are there any settings that you would recommend that wud speed things up a bit? not sure why the ceiling is splotchy... still going through some of the tutorials for vray to understand some of the settings
Exellite
the trick is to be able to troubleshoot your own work whilst knowing how to keep render times at a minimun, I've still got a long way to go myself but something thats helped me no end is this article http://www.cgarchitect.com/upclose/VI/Week14/Critical_VRay_Settings_Part_I.pdf I must have read that PDF about 8 times already, but it has help a lot. Don't ask me where part 2 is, The 1 link I found for it doesn't work, if anyone could upload the pdf somewhere I'd really apreciate it
