bradinho
Hi I am a very beginner in this field, i ve just got a web design and graphic design background but I would like to get into architectural rendering and vizualisation just as a hobbie for now. So I would like to know what would be the best chosie of software for this purpose, there seems to be a lot of choice9 3ds max, c4d, archicad revit, lightwave, maya and so on. What would be the best choice in term of quality of rendering and easiness to use file from architects? Thanks you Bradinho
Justin Hunt
If you have the budget then get into Max or a cheaper option Viz. These are industry standard and talk very well with Acad. However a hobby budget may not streatch that far you wont go wrong with C4D and its excellt quality. Archicad, Revit ADT are more geared towards modelling with the view of producing plans and elevations etc and the rendering is and added bonus. Maya, Lightwave, Modo are also fantastic although not directly geared towards architectural rendering, but that not to say they cant do it. Download the demo's and play with each to see which siuts you the best JHV
