Can someone quickly let me know how i can show both the bottom and top face of my plane when i create it in standard primatives - I only see the top side - Is there a setting that I can tick to change this.

cheers

Thanks for both responses,it helped out alot.

I have another question. I am trying to set

up an image plane reference to start modelling,

i have set up my planes and put my outline bitmap on the planes

however in one particular case i want to apply a different bitmap to each side of my plane (back and front view) and was wondering what the best way of doing this was.

The tutorial i am following does not really explain how they did this so would appreciate if anyone could let me know.

Cheers

Thanks for that rick. I will definately try it that way if i cant get this to work...

I had been trying to get a two sided material to show up on a plane in viewports. The back and front view for blueprints of a car from a tutorial i am doing.

I have read the threads about selecting open gl and creating a two sided material and i think i have all the right settings for the two sided material to show up on my viewports but for some reason it is not showing both sides just 1. (See attached screen shot). When i render it shows both back and front sides on the plane but for some reason it is not doing the same in the viewports. I have attached my settings that i am using also. If anyone could shed some light on what i am missing i would appreciate it.

thanks.
