Michael Mlynek
Hey guys, i am pretty new to 3ds and vray, (worked with c4d for many years, so i am working my way trough the differnces, sometimes i get stuck: i got a hemispherical hdr (with black bottom underneath the horizon), i use this map in 2 vray hdr materials one for the lighitng in the rendering window and one dropped into the environment. Now i get the problem that i cant get a cam angle not to see the black underneath the horizon....Is there a way to change the mapping of the environment? (i helped myself with a dome for now, but would like to hear what you guys do) Also is there something like a infinite ground object in max? Last question what do you guys do towards the horizon to add some detail like buildings etc... and how do i get a atmospherical falloff towards the horizon...? I hope you guys can answer these noob questions, thanks in advance Michael
