Sawyer
I was playing with Aaron's excellent paper material and actually the file itself: http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/21505-not-clay-model-paper-model-vray.html I wanted to have an animation where color spreads into the screen because it seems like that nice bumpy water color paper would take color well. I also wanted to see what photoshops new animation capabilities were so I inserted the animation into CS3 (extended). I have to say its really nice to be able to take what I know of ps and extend that to video work. Here are 3 frames from the ani and an original frame and a frame after it was touched up in post in CS 3. Nothing really fancy but I do feel a bit more confident in being able to get a good video sequence now that I can use ps.

aaron-cds
lol, glad to see you playing around with the paper model. sorry to go off topic but, I just posted an inquiry on another forum regarding upgrading to CS3 from CS2. I'm curious if it's worth the money for arch-viz work. I really have no compaints about CS2.
Sawyer
I really like it. They tightened up the smart layers so you can do non destructive filters, this animation stuff, the new clone stamp features, You can now (and this is huge) create an image and export it as a 3d object. So you can take a real world picture edit it with some really nice new 3d perspective manipulation tools and export it as a box into 3ds max. http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/video_workshop/ There are a collection of videos that show the new features. And thanks Tim. Saw your recent posting at chaosgroup and you guys are really putting some amazing work. edit: I think that almost all of the cool features are on EXTENDED not the regular CS3

Ernest Burden III
I always Hate seeing StudioAMD's work because it make's me want to go ahead and get a job at the local burger king I hear Jon and Richard run a nice Burger King franchise in Providence, you could apply to work there. "You want three stills, a QTVR and an animation...and do you want fries with that?" RenderFries-TM Today I took my kids to an aquarium, and when we parked in the garage nearby, my son was quick to note that we were parked in section 3D. I didn't even have to say "everybody remember where we parked" like Captain Kirk. We're 3D'ers, even when we're flippin' burgers, or going to look at sharks. And Tim--you've got killer new work that you don't post here? What are we, last week's take-out food?
Tim Nelson
Eh, a lot of it you've seen already, that's why I didn't duplicate the post & pictures. Check out our website though - it has the 2014 Winter Olympics images. The guys here did an incredible job on them.

Maybe they have a night manager position open that I can apply for.
